🚗 Travel Policy Rideshare Reminder

When using rideshare services for business travel, please choose the most economical option that meets your business needs.

❌ Premium rideshare services (e.g., Uber Black, Uber Comfort, UberXL, Lyft Black, Lyft XL, Waymo premium services) are generally not reimbursable unless there is a documented business need.

❌ Priority pickup and other optional convenience fees are generally not allowable without a business justification.

✅ Tips for taxi and rideshare drivers are allowable up to 20% of the fare plus applicable fees per SLAC Travel & Expense Policy.

If a premium service is used, reimbursement may be limited to the equivalent standard fare, and any additional cost may be the traveler's responsibility.
